Palm Kernel Oil Press Machine Working Process

The Palm Kernel Oil Press Machine extracts oil through the impelling action which is generated by two intermeshing screws rotating in opposite directions in the chamber, palm kernel is pushed forward. Meanwhile, with the shortening of the helical pitch, the volume of the pressing chamber shrinks and pressure is generated, and the palm kernel is compressed so that the oil in it is squeezed out. The expressed oil flows out of the gap in the squeezed cage. The residue is discharged from the end of the squeeze shaft.

1. Palm Kernel Preparation

The palm kernels are thoroughly cleaned to remove impurities such as dust, stones, and other debris. Proper cleaning ensures smooth operation and enhances the quality of the oil. After cleaning, the palm kernels are dried to the appropriate moisture level for optimal pressing.

2. Palm Kernel Feeding

The dried palm kernels are fed into the palm kernel machine through a hopper. The hopper is designed to regulate the flow of kernels, ensuring a steady and controlled feed for consistent pressing performance.

3. Palm Kernel Oil Pressing

The palm kernels pass into the pressing chamber, where they are subjected to high pressure and mechanical action by the screw press. The screw rotates continuously, compressing the palm kernels to extract oil efficiently. The pressing process extracts the oil from the kernel cake (solid residue). The design of the palm kernel press machine ensures maximum extraction with minimal wastage.

4. Palm Kernel Oil Collection

As the oil is extracted, it flows through specially designed channels into the collection tank. The oil may contain small particles and impurities at this stage.

5. Palm Kernel Oil Filtration

The crude palm kernel oil is transferred to a filtration system to remove any remaining impurities. The filtration process ensures the oil is clean, clear, and ready for further processing or use.

6. Palm Kernel Cake Discharge

The solid residue, known as palm kernel cake, is automatically discharged from the palm kernel oil press machine. This byproduct can be used as animal feed or for other industrial applications.
